When should I arrive?
DuBunné Spa’s benefits are maximized when you arrive in time to prepare! Allow at least 15 minutes to check in, slip into a DuBunné robe and slippers, relax in one of our quiet areas and sip a beverage while you clear your mind for the experience. While we try to accommodate late arrivals, we cannot guarantee an extension of scheduled service times.
What is appropriate spa attire?
Please wear whatever is comfortable for you. We recommend that you leave your jewelry at home. Please bring a bathing suit if you plan on using the jacuzzi area. We'll provide aDuBunné robe and slippers for you.
Some treatments do not require disrobing. If you are not sure, ask our spa coordinators. Our therapists are trained to drape a sheet over any part of your body not being treated.

How do I choose the best facial for me?
We highly recommend consulting with your esthetician before you begin your treatment to discuss your your specific needs and expectations. Please let her know any treatment preferences you may have — it’s easier for us to meet your needs if you tell us what you want up front. We’ll also ask you about products you are currently using on your skin, as this will effect your skin’s sensitivity and how it responds to certain treatments.
If you request additional services, your esthetician will let you know right away of any extra charges this may incur. Pricing for all services is always available to you.
At DuBunné there’s no need to worry about post-facial breakouts — all facials that include extractions include a pre-treatment oxygen cream to prevent breakouts.
How do I keep that “post-facial glow?”
Your facial is just the first step toward effective skincare — your skin needs protection between treatments. Your esthetician will recommend products based on your specific needs to keep your skin ‘spa-fresh.’ Our helpful and knowledgeable staff can answer any questions you might have about your recommended regimen. Also, the DuBunné Skincare For Life shop at the spa offers a treasure-trove of effective, quality products for your skin — and we’re always happy to assist you in your selections.
Can I wear make-up after a facial?
If you've had an oxygen treatment you should try to keep your skin free of make-up, for maximum treatment effectiveness. After most other facial procedures, we recommend you wait a few hours, then make-up should be fine. Bring it up with your esthetician if you have any concerns.
I’d like to add waxing. Can I get it done during this appointment?
Please ask! Just let your esthetician know, and if her schedule allows she will be sure to accommodate you.
I like silence during my treatment. Do I have to chat?
We can certainly appreciate that ‘silence can be golden’ when it comes to your serenity! We all have our individual preferences when it comes to de-stressing. If you don’t feel like conversation, simply mention it. Then again, if you feel like chatting, please do — we always want your experience to be completely comfortable for you.
I wear contacts. What do I do with them?
Please make sure to remove your contact lenses before any treatment that involves microdermabrasion. You'll find general purpose saline solution for your lenses by the sinks in our locker rooms, so you can remove your contact lenses pre-treatment.
What if I lose my key?
Please inform any of our staff and he/she will help you access your locker right away.
